Funerals & Memorial Services
St. Paul’s Church offers its deepest condolences to your family in this time of grief and loss. At this time, we come together in Christian community to surround your family and to honor the life of your loved one. We give thanks to God for their life and our hope of resurrection.
We provide two types of services for our church members and their immediate family members:
Funeral service - A service where the body of the deceased is present, which is followed by interment or burial.
Memorial service - A service where the body of the deceased is cremated or not present. Interment or inurnment of the cremains occurs prior to or after the service.
We do not generally provide funeral or memorial services for non-members. However, we do consider all cases of bereavement, and the Senior Pastor will make the final decision regarding whether to provide a service for a non-member.
If you are looking to watch a live-stream of an individual’s funeral or memorial service,
see our stream page here.
We will update the stream page on the specific day and time of their service.
Steps for planning a Service
At the time of death, please contact us by calling 713-528-0527. If you are calling during non-business hours, provide your name, phone number and the name of your deceased loved one to the operator who will forward the information to the pastor on call.
The pastor will guide you and your family through this process and ask about your preferences for a funeral or memorial service. Please follow these steps for planning purposes:

Funeral and memorial services may be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. We make every effort to accommodate requested dates and times, subject to the availability of the pastor, musicians, and church facilities.
